How should we prepare for our portrait session?

Make sure you have enough time to prepare before the shoot so you are not stressed out. Wear comfortable fitting clothes for the season. With kids it helps to bring something to drink or some snacks to make it easy for them as well.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we ask for a 20% deposit to save the date.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, credit card, PayPal, & Venmo. For credit cards, we are required to charge a 5% processing fee.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes we do! Many venues will require the photographer to have liability insurance. If your venue requires this, let us know and we will be happy to provide all of the details.

How far should we book in advance?

Typically 6 to 12 months in advance is a good time frame. If you’re getting married during peak months (from May to October) we recommended 10 to 18 months in advance.

When will we get our photos?

For the best quality post production, our turnaround for wedding photos is 3 to 6 weeks. For portrait sessions, it is 1 to 2 weeks.

How do you deliver the images?

For portrait sessions you will receive a link to your private online gallery. USB delivery available for purchase. For weddings you will receive both the gallery and USB included.

Do you offer an online gallery?

Yes! We will send a link to your private online gallery with all sessions. We never delete these unless requested.

How many photographers do you work with?

We mainly work as a team of two, but will occasionally hire an assistant to help with larger weddings.

Do you bring backup equipment?

Absolutely! We never leave home without a backup set.

Do you backup your images? How can we be sure our images won’t get lost?

In our editing process we ensure that we have multiple copies of your images at all times on hard drives as well as the cloud. We’ll also store your images for a minimum of one year on our hard drives. We offer a private online gallery with all sessions and never delete these. Either way, please make sure you back them up as well.

Do you travel?

Yes, of course! Please let us know where you are planning to have your wedding and we can discuss it further in detail. We also offer discounted destination rates if your venue is near: Las Vegas, NV; Memphis, TN; Nashville, TN; Panama City Beach, FL; San Antonio, TX; San Jose, CA.

Are you flexible with your pricing?

Yes, during certain times of the year we will offer discounts up to 20% OFF all sessions. This is generally in the slower booking times of Dec through Feb. Make sure to follow us on social media to see our next promotion.

Where can I change outfits?

In the event that we will not be near anywhere where you can change, we will bring a neat little pop-up tent. It will be your own personal dressing room.
